The clinical examples shown here are to give patients considering upper arm reduction surgery an impression as to the likely outcome following that procedure. Removal of lax and redundant upper arm skin does result in visible scarring and potential patients need to be aware of the trade-off between skin laxity and visible scaring. The women shown here have agreed to have their images displayed anonymously for the benefit of others considering this procedure. The majority of patients are happy with the improved contour despite the scarring.
